Job Description
The Finance Lead drives financial planning and analysis for Global HR, supporting more than $75MM in annual expense across multiple HR Business Vice Presidents. This role strengthens financial planning and analytical capabilities while engaging regularly with leadership team members. The Finance Lead also supports strategic and technology investment decisions and participates in annual financial planning cycles.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the annual Plan, LRP, and LBE processes, including P&L, headcount, capital, and project expense projections for senior management review.
Operate independently to prepare schedules and supporting analysis for each planning cycle, ensuring clear and concise management materials.
Partner with Finance Shared Services on the monthly close and financial reporting process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely actual results, including variance commentary for P&L and headcount.
Analyze monthly results, communicate performance versus benchmark to business teams, and align on resolution plans or corrective actions.
Provide management with clear insights into business and financial performance drivers and risks; assess business and market opportunities and recommend prioritization decisions.
Lead financial reviews and approvals for purchase orders and invoices.
Lead ad hoc analysis, projects, and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
6+ years of progressive financial analysis and accounting experience.
Ability to work independently and adjust priorities to deliver accurate and timely results.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and BPC.
Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement and change.
Builds strong relationships with peers and cross-functional partners to enable higher performance.
Learns quickly and adapts readily when priorities or conditions change.
Raises the bar and challenges the status quo.
