Job Description
This position is responsible for consolidations and direct financial leadership of the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), while overseeing finance support across multiple Therapeutics Operations functions, including Market Access, IRA Center of Excellence (COE), 340B Center of Excellence (COE), Independent Medical Education (IME), and Purchasing Initiatives through two direct reports. The Senior Finance Manager oversees all aspects of financial planning and analysis including annual operating plans, forecasts (LBEs), long-range plans, and monthly financial reporting.
This role requires a high level of operational discipline, attention to detail, and ownership. The individual serves as the central point of coordination across multiple workstreams, ensuring all deliverables are complete, accurate, and submitted on time for leadership review. Success requires proactive communication, strong follow-up, and the ability to manage competing priorities with urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end consolidation of financial deliverables, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete submissions
- Directly lead financial planning and analysis for the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), including forecasting, reporting, and strategy support
- Oversee finance support across Market Access, IRA COE, IME, and Purchasing through two direct reports, ensuring alignment and output quality
- Establish and communicate clear timelines, expectations, and due dates to cross-functional partners
- Proactively track progress and follow up to ensure inputs are received ahead of deadlines
- Perform thorough pre-review of all materials to ensure accuracy and completeness before leadership review
- Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Lead and develop a team of two Finance Leads, ensuring accountability for deliverables and performance
- Drive a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement across the team
- Lead financial cycles (Annual Plan, LRP, LBE, monthly close) with accurate and executive-ready outputs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 7 –10+ years of progressive finance experience
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering high-quality, error-free work
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables under strict deadlines
- Proven ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Self-starter with strong ownership and follow-through
