Job Description

The Digital Lab Experience Lead (OEL) for Oncology serves as the primary point of contact to the Oncology BU, specifically Franchise A - translating brand priorities into actionable digital and omnichannel execution plans. Operating with a business‑first mindset, the OEL provides context, structure, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure seamless activation across Lab+ capabilities. This role plays a critical part in orchestrating high‑impact digital solutions, advancing omnichannel maturity, and ensuring cohesive ways of working across brand, Lab+, APEX, and partner teams.

The OEL maintains strategic presence in key Oncology forums (e.g., NM/RDDM, IBT, SP2), leads cross‑functional discussions, and ensures clarity in planning, prioritization, and Digital Lab budget strategy supporting brand objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Relationship Management:
    • Act as a primary point of contact to Oncology Franchise A, and other BU teams as appropriate.
    • Build strong partnerships with Oncology brand teams in Franchise A, advising on digital and omnichannel opportunities.
    • Maintain a consistent role in key brand forums to guide business reviews and execution readiness.
    • Champion the brand’s priorities across Digital Lab+ while ensuring clear communication loops.
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Translate Oncology BU priorities into structured, actionable omni/digital briefs and execution roadmaps.
    • Partner with brand omnichannel strategy and alliance partners to lead the development and execution of digital commercial tactics aligned to brand objectives.
    • Partner with cross‑functional teams to refine workflows and end‑to‑end operating models.
    • Surface future needs and opportunities to evolve capabilities and customer experiences.
    • Provide context, strategy, and guidance to cross‑functional Lab+ teams.
    • Facilitate a high‑functioning Lab+ ecosystem through learnings and collaboration and sharing of best practices.
  • Communication with Cross-Function Teams & Senior Marketing Leaders:
    • Communicate brand priorities, insights, and timelines to Digital Lab+ teams.
    • Lead strategic capability education sessions with brand teams where appropriate.
    • Elevate connection of Digital Lab contributions to brand outcomes.
  • Financial Management:
    • Ensure clarity and transparency in Digital Lab budget planning and tracking.
    • Guide brand decision‑making by outlining resource requirements and efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in digital marketing or related experience
  • Proven experience as an Experience Lead/ Account Lead or similar role in a digital or advertising agency
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, technology trends, and innovation processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial objectives
