Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop SAS programs for creation of ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
  • Develop SAS programs for creation of Tables, Listings & Figures. Validation of ADaM data sets.
  • Validation of Tables, Listings & Figures.
  • Create specifications for structure of ADaM data sets for individual studies.
  • Create documentation for regulatory filings including reviewers guides & data definition documents.
  • Participate in the development of standard SAS Macros.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must have a MS in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field & must have 12 weeks/1 internship/1 course in SAS programming. Of the experience required, must have 12 weeks/1 internship/1 course:

  1. programming support for pharmaceutical industry clinical trials;
  2. generating clinical outputs (Tables, Listings, & figures) with SAS or R;
  3. creating & validating ADaM datasets with CDISC/ADaM standards;
  4. supporting Phase I, II, III clinical trials;
  5. programming in R, focusing on data processing, analysis, & visualization; &
  6. utilizing each of the following SAS tools: SAS/BASE,SAS/MACROS, SAS/SQL, SAS/GRAPH, & SAS/STAT.

Alternatively, would accept BS in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field & 2 years in SAS programming.

Of the experience required, must have 1 year:

  1. programming support for pharmaceutical industry clinical trials;
  2. generating clinical outputs (Tables, Listings, & figures) with SAS or R;
  3.  creating & validating ADaM datasets with CDISC/ADaM standards;
  4. supporting Phase I, II, III clinical trials; &
  5. programming in R, focusing on data processing, analysis, & visualization; &
  6. utilizing each of the following SAS tools: SAS/BASE, SAS/MACROS, SAS/SQL, SAS/GRAPH, & SAS/STAT.

Experience may be gained concurrently.   Would accept combination of education, training & work experience.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $101,712 - $122,000 per year.
