Job Description
Working independently, the Clinical Financial Analyst will assist with processing and administration of disbursement transactions requiring revision while supporting timely investigation and resolution of disbursement related inquiries for the R&D Clinical Payments organization. Other activities include contract budget entry into financial systems and performing financial reconciliations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with processing and administration of R&D disbursement transactions requiring revision along with timely investigation and resolution of disbursement inquires, primarily within SAP.
- Apply critical thinking skills to resolve any payment issues that arise by interacting with the suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely Contract entry and configuration for executed supplier agreement budgets into the appropriate finance system, investigate discrepancies and collaborate with suppliers regarding missing back-up for submitted invoices.
- Conduct final payment reconciliation for all assigned studies/suppliers.
- Identify risks and trends that may be noted during contract configuration, payment processing, reconciliation and propose mitigation strategies / efficiencies across studies and suppliers
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned Suppliers, R&D Clinical Contracting and timely responses to supplier inquiries.
- Provide forward thinking data analytics to support dashboards and other such reporting that advances operational efficiencies.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred and/or 2+ years of equivalent related work experience is required.
- Proficient experience in SAP required and prior SAP accounts payable processor experience is preferred.
- Strong background in data analytics and technology applications, including AI usage and Power BI
- Proficiency in Excel preferred.
- Able to work well within a team and autonomously. Able to influence without authority.
- Strong communication skills and customer support.
