Job Description
The Associate Director of Consumer Omnichannel Analytics leads the Consumer Enterprise Advanced Analytics & Innovation team for US Commercial, focusing on informing business decision-making through developing and delivering robust analytic solutions. This role partners with Apex Franchise Analytics & Data Strategy, Digital Lab Media, Omni-Channel Experience, and supports stakeholders in the Consumer Marketing team.
This role requires a marketing analytics leader with demonstrated technical and business acumen to leverage data, analytics, and technology to identify actionable insights across functional areas and position AbbVie as a best-in-class omnichannel customer experience provider. Additionally, this role will build a Consumer omnichannel analytics roadmap to enhance the organization's execution and optimize marketing and sales promotional channels.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and gain stakeholder alignment for a Consumer Omni-Chanel Analytics vision and strategic roadmap, including an enterprise strategy for the development of reports and analysis from identified graph solutions
- Influence direction and lead collaboration with all stakeholders (Digital Lab, APEX Enterprise, APEX Franchise teams) to align and drive progress of Omnichannel analytics priorities
- Partners with Customer Experience, Commercial Capabilities, Apex Franchise Analytics and Business Technology Solutions to design and execute scalable analytics solutions
- Lead a team of analytics managers that are responsible for developing and executing omnichannel analytics solutions in the following areas:
- Lead measurement planning workstreams for promotional channels to capture campaign objectives and provide recommendations for KPI selection, performance measurement, experimental design, and delivery of actionable insights
- Design test-and-learn strategies for A/B and multivariate tests across digital/CRM channels to identify the causal impact and iteratively improve performance through key learnings
- Streamline the collection and automation of digital marketing data across channels and develop processes to integrate into dashboards to communicate marketing performance to key stakeholders effectively
- Analyzes campaign results to identify opportunities to improve performance through key driver analysis and simulation
- Develop and deploy advanced statistical models and machine learning solutions to identify the drivers of brand performance
- Leads projects of varying analytical sophistication, identifies efficient solutions, manages timelines, and delivers on expected outcomes
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities:
Lead a team of direct reports. Manage vendor relationships and budgets
Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field required (Engineering, Computer Science, Finance & Economics, or similar)- Master's Degree preferred
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, customer analytics, and data science
- 10+ years of experience defining data and technology requirements to support analytics
- 10+ years of experience gathering business requirements and scoping analytics projects
- 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics and multi-channel marketing
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing direct reports
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SQL
- 3+ years of experience in dashboard design and development (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in a web analytics tool (Adobe or Google)
- Adept in navigating a matrix environment at a large company, including effective communication and influence skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a wide variety of analytic projects/portfolios and multiple priorities
Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in multivariate statistics, statistical computing, and machine learning techniques and frameworks
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Direct-to-Consumer Omnichannel marketing and analytics space, such as digital media, search, social, websites, endemic, and familiarity with digital targeting, activation, trafficking, and measurement.
- 5+ years of experience in R/Python, Relational Databases (Teradata, Oracle, etc.), and IDEs like Jupyter
- MarTech and big data knowledge is preferred in the digital space (DMP, digital identity solution, data clean room, CDP, etc.)
- Experience in Experimental Design and Randomized Control Trials
- Experience working with and analyzing syndicated pharma data (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.)
- Experience developing and deploying Omni-Channel analytics solutions such as Next Best Action or Multi-touch Attribution
