In our Pharmaceutical development department within Research and Development at the Ludwigshafen site, you will be working in a team of talented people and experienced experts toward developing tomorrow's products. In cutting-edge laboratories, you will be setting highest standards in the competitive field.

Moving mountains together – as Senior Manager QA Operations (all genders), you own and maintain the Quality systems for Ludwigshafen Operations in a sustainable way. You also ensure site compliance with applicable cGMP and Medical Device regulations for all markets where products manufactured are commercialized, as well as with AbbVie and third-party Quality requirements.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Assure Quality oversight for Quality systems and performance metrics
  • Lead Quality Assurance to ensure employee development and effective succession planning
  • Actively support Performance Excellence programs
  • Manage costs efficiently, achieve agreed budget targets, work to improve bottom-line growth
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements for Quality Assurance
  • Act as substitute for the Site Quality Director

Qualifications

How you move mountains:

  • Degree in Chemistry / Pharmacy / Biology or equivalent
  • Minimum 10-year experience in the Pharma industry, preferably both drug products and API
  • Strong leadership skills and significant experience as line manager, leading large teams
  • Demonstrated experience in Operations Quality Assurance (at least 5 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of cGMP regulations (e.g., EU/US) and agencies’ expectations
  • Experience in direct management of inspections
  • Profound understanding of Operations business
  • Both, German and English business fluent
  • Passionate for performance, drive for innovation
  • High degree of self-motivation/proactivity and efficient results-oriented way of working
