Job Description
It is critical to ensure that our customers are trained appropriately on our product, so that they can use it correctly and deliver optimal benefit to patients. The Clinical Specialist role is to provide hands-off support to customers across Norway within neurology, especially Parkinson’s Disease area. In this role you will ensure that practitioners are competent to use our product safely and effectively. You will also support the commercial IFT (in field team) in their designated regions in delivering clinical support to their customers and driving use of the product within those accounts. This role requires you to travel throughout region/country.
Key responsibilities
- In collaboration with our sales team, identify customers who will benefit from more technical product support, and work with those customers to drive confidence in the use of our product.
- Build strong relationships and advocacy with HCPs nationally and within key accounts. Be seen as a valued resource through the quality of the education and support provided. Operate with the highest ethical standards and be an Ambassador for AbbVie.
- Ensure positive HCP experience with AbbVie products by providing ongoing clinical and educational support at all stages of the educational journey. Provide product educational services to HCPs, through a variety of channels, to support HCPs to increase their knowledge, confidence, clinical understanding and advocacy of our product.
- Maintain up to date in-depth technical knowledge of specialty, disease areas, AbbVie product and competitive marketplace.
- Work with the cross functional team to prioritise target accounts, given the wide scope of the role. Provide insight and share best practice to inform National and Territory account plans, including proactively identifying opportunities to add value to HCPs and patients. Use innovative thinking and practices to overcome barriers and respond to critical business opportunities and threats.
Qualifications
- It a great advance if you are a licenced Nurse or Physiotherapist.
- It´s desirable if you also have a Post-reg qualification degree/MSc/PhD.
- Experience working within diverse cross functional teams and evidence of influencing and building relationships as part of this is essential.
- We expect you to have proven neurology experience in a clinical environment relevant for the therapeutic area such as Botox or Parkinson’s Disease nurse.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of the local health care system, including policies, protocols and political environment that may affect the work of HCPs.
- Knowledge within neurology, including product, therapeutic, competitive, and scientific knowledge.
- Proficient in the use of business tools and IT, including virtual engagement platforms in scenarios where physical travel is not possible.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, and changing environment in an autonomous manner.
