Job Description

In this position you will lead the Norwegian Market Access team, and be part of the Scandinavian Market Access, HTA/HEOR, Governmental Affairs and External Affairs leadership team and report to the Market Access Director Scandinavia. 

You will have a key role in will leading and developing the Market Access team Norway, ensuring excellence in deliverables and driving cross-functional teamwork while placing the patient at the center of all efforts. You and your team will be responsible for both new and existing products with regards to local pricing- and market access strategies, payer negotiations, value message creation and implementation. In addition, you will be contributing to our advocacy work on policy shaping in close cooperation with your Governmental Affairs and External Affairs colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Norwegian Market Access team and facilitate cross-functonal cooperation with governmental affairs, HTA/HEOR, external affairs and brand teams
  • Develop robust integrated access stratgies for our portfolio
  • Obtain internal and external price approvals in accordance with the portfolio strategy
  • Lead payer negotiations and tender processes
  • Support and lead your team in their implementation of market access strategies, including  important customer meeting. Facilitate and prioritise Market Access  participation in Brand teams.
  • Partake in the Plan and LRP process, as responsible for market access assumptions
  • Be an active part of the MEGAH X leadership team and an active member of the RN MAD community
  • Engage externally in the trade association (LMI) work, and with relevant stakeholders such as payers and policymakers

Qualifications

  • Scientific or business/economic degree
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience with proven track record of success in strategic leadership roles
  • Excellent knowledge of the Norwegian healthcare environment (including the processes for pricing and reimbursement)
  • Strong business understanding
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Ability to drive complex cross-functional collaboration to align Market Access strategies with other brand strategies.
