Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Engineer, IFT Tools to join our innovative IT team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Salesforce CRM, with a strong emphasis on Lightning UI and Lightning Web Components. Proficiency in Java and the latest front-end web technologies is essential. While Veeva skills are a nice-to-have, our primary focus is on candidates with deep expertise in Salesforce and web development. This role requires a technically adept individual who can work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

Salesforce CRM Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce CRM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Leverage Salesforce Lightning UI and Lightning Web Components to enhance user experience and system functionality.
  • Develop custom applications and integrations using Salesforce platform capabilities.

Front-End Development:

  • Design and develop responsive web applications using the latest front-end technologies.
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of the front-end codebase.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

Back-End Development:

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using Salesforce Apex, Java and related technologies.
  • Implement robust and scalable back-end services to support front-end applications.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in the design and architecture of IT tools and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Salesforce, web technologies, and best practices.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT, to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and status updates with project teams and management.

Project Management:

  • Lead IT tool-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within IT tools and systems.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to support IT initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Salesforce CRM.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Lightning UI and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proficiency in Java and related back-end technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.

Beneficial:

  • Veeva skills are a plus but not required.
