Are you a friendly, organised and motivated individual who enjoys helping people and making them feel welcome? Join the team at 1300SMILES Carindale as a Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist!

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, has great communication skills and is passionate about providing an exceptional experience for our patients. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for casual work, with approximately 2–3 days per week.

This is a varied position where you’ll support both the clinical and front-office teams to keep the practice running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting dentists and clinicians during dental procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments.
• Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional experience.
• Managing appointments, answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
• Supporting patient bookings, recalls and general reception administration.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and welcoming practice.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has dental assisting and/or reception experience, ideally within a dental practice.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
• Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.
• Is flexible and available to work 2–3 days per week.
