Job Description

West Pymble Dental Surgery invites applications from experienced Dental Hygienists to join the practice on a part-time basis. Initially, the role will be 2 mornings per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the opportunity to transition into 2 full days per week.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established patient base and play an important role in delivering exceptional preventative care. We are looking for someone with a warm, bubbly personality who enjoys building strong relationships with patients and creating a positive experience at every appointment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality preventative and periodontal care to patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans within your scope of practice.
  • Perform routine cleans, scaling, root debridement and other preventative dental procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care to support long-term oral health outcomes.
  • Build strong rapport and lasting relationships with patients through a friendly, professional and caring approach.
  • Work collaboratively with the dentists and wider clinical team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Dental Hygienist 
  • Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain)
  • Ability to work within Australia
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
  • Passion for continuous learning and expanding clinical skills
