Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist | Halls Head Dental

Looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?

At Halls Head Dental, we're looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This is a dual role, perfect for someone who enjoys both patient care and front office responsibilities.

You'll split your time between supporting our clinicians chairside and providing a welcoming experience for our patients at reception. If you're flexible, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and love helping people, we'd love to hear from you!

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our dentists with a variety of clinical procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
• Maintaining infection control standards
• Greeting patients and creating a positive first impression
• Answering phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments
• Processing payments and health fund claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)
• Is friendly, professional and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
• Is organised, adaptable and enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the practice
