We’re looking for a Full-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at 1300SMILES Cairns Central. To be considered, you’ll bring proven experience or hold a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting.

As our Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth clinical operations and an excellent experience for our patients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, team-focused environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

• Provide clinical chairside assistance.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterilisation processes.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic clinical environment.

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous
• Experience in dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge of sterilisation protocols and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dental software.
