Company Description

At Lumino, we are proud to be a team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences and high-quality dental care. With over 130 practices across New Zealand, we are deeply connected to the communities we serve. We are committed to supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Job Description

Lumino Ōtaki is currently on the lookout for an experienced Receptionist to join the team on a permanent, part-time basis!

We are a high-performing team of professionals who take great pride in the services and care we provide our patients.

As one of our receptionists, you will be the friendly face that our patients see when they enter our doors, and the voice they hear when they call our practice. A typical day will see you assisting patients with enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings for our clinicians, processing payments, banking, and carrying out a range of administrative duties.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Therefore, we require an experienced receptionist, ideally with previous experience within the healthcare industry.

Hours for this role:

  • Wednesday to Friday, 8.15am – 5.15pm

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist experience is essential, ideally within the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in file management and data entry.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must hold valid NZ work rights.
  • Must hold a valid NZ driver licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (as travel between Ōtaki and Waikanae will be required).

Additional Information

  • While this role is currently part-time, there is potential for it to develop into a full-time position for the right candidate.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work across both Lumino Ōtaki and Lumino Waikanae, depending on roster and practice requirements.
  • The successful candidate will also receive training to become a Dental Assistant, providing valuable clinical support and gaining hands-on experience within the practice.
