Job Description
- Oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of all Abacus contractual agreements.
- Identify and assist in resolving any compliance issues.
- Complete representation and certifications for contracts.
- Issue and negotiate subcontracts under prime contract awards.
- Prepare contract modifications for subcontracts and task orders.
- Draft language for contract clauses and correspondence as necessary.
- Prepare consulting agreements and subsequent amendments.
- Support program and cost center managers as well as accounting and financial operations.
- Recommend improvements to procedures for corporate development, review and execution of contracts, subcontracts, independent contracting agreements, purchase orders, and teaming agreements.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in supporting Federal government contracts. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Must be thoroughly familiar with the administration of Federal government contracts, the FAR/DFAR, and other procurement laws and regulations. Prior work experience with large companies providing professional services to the Federal government highly desirable. Must be highly organized and able to keep track of multiple assignments/priorities. Solid negotiating skills and be able to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Must be a US citizen.
