About Position:-

Position: "Molding Technician"
Experience: 7-9yr.
Location: Bangalore

Job Summary

Responsible for Setup the mold, Set up of Process parameters and responsible for Operating the molding machines as per the work instruction and execute the production orders released by the Planner in time.

Job Description:

• Practice Environment, Safety & Health rules & instructions
• First aider in his shift, and taking care with in the section.
• Do basic machine maintenance/autonomous maintenance
• Keep the Molding shop and surrounding areas neat and clean, ensure high standards of 6S.
• Keep the good parts & non-conforming parts separately at identified locations.
• Execute the production as per the work order given by the Planner.
• Ensure accurate data entry in log books, responsible for correct data capturing and reporting of Downtimes, downtime reasons, Rejections and their reasons.
• Lead the team by example, train & develop the team skills.
• Execute the production as per the work order given by the Planner.

Skills Required:

• Ability to read and understand English language
• Ability to use measuring instruments like Vernier caliper & Micrometer
• Ability to understand the Injection molding process and related functions
• Ability to understand and practice safety instructions and methods
• Ability to maintain & troubleshoot the molding process
• Ability to set up the Injection molding machine for production
• Ability to do the basic works on Computer & production module data entry in SAP
• Ability to download the work orders from SAP & execute
• Ability to print the bar code labels for packaging as per inventory control.
