Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ability to manage a design team with a collaborative leadership style which puts value on relationships, both internal and external as well as ensures high-quality design.

• Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.

• Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision.

• Monitor and maintain the project schedule on a weekly basis.

• Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color and materials to carryout design intent.

• Proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients. Ensure completion of and track all independent testing and inspections as required.

• Ensure that “as built” drawings are prepared on an on-going basis and issue final close outs to consultant/owner accordingly. Ability to use Revit, Photoshop, In Design, AutoCAD.

• Strong Organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.

• Leadership Skills: Ability to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for employees.

• Time Management: Work with employees, customers and management, often spinning multiple plates at once.

• Budgeting: Expected to keep and maintain a budget in almost every field.

• Analytical Skills: Need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day. Analyse data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.

• Communication skills: Excellent communication with good Hindi.

Key Deliverables

Certification as a project management professional (PMP) will be an added advantage.

Education

B.E/B.Tech or Masters degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

Professional Experience

3-7 Years of relevant experience.
