WHO WE ARE
Immowelt is a leading German digital real estate marketplace and part of the Aviv Group, a European family of real estate platforms across Germany, France, and Belgium, building trusted property ecosystems.
Job Description
THE ROLE
We are looking for a (Senior) Product Manager to own and drive Immowelt's Core Classified and Import Products — a suite of platform-enablement products that sit at the heart of how real estate data flows into and out of our marketplace.
You will own the full product lifecycle across data import infrastructure, classified listing products, and data-as-a-service exports: from defining the vision and roadmap to driving measurable delivery with engineering, data, and commercial teams.
You will report directly to the Head of Product and work closely with cross-functional squads across Immowelt and the Aviv Group. We're looking for a strong Senior PM or a mid-level PM ready to grow into real ownership and broader scope.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set and execute the product strategy across your portfolio. Own the vision, mission, roadmap, backlog, and delivery — aligned with Immowelt's OKRs and business targets.
- Lead high-impact platform enablement and transformation initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, data, ops, and business stakeholders across the organisation.
Product Discovery & Strategy
- Own end-to-end product discovery: define target state, assess current gaps, and map the best transformation path.
- Research and synthesise market signals, B2B customer needs, operational pain points, and technical constraints into a prioritised roadmap.
- Define measurable goals, success KPIs, and north-star metrics for all initiatives — and track them rigorously.
- Validate opportunities through fast experimentation and iterative delivery.
Delivery & Execution
- Drive end-to-end product delivery in close partnership with engineering, design, and data teams.
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear scope, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
- Manage planning, prioritisation, dependencies, and risks across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Lead platform modernisation efforts — including the migration from legacy on-premise infrastructure to cloud — with clear migration plans and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure every impact of your delivery on other teams is communicated, aligned, and transparent.
Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
- Align stakeholders — from engineering to senior leadership — on strategy, priorities, and progress with full transparency.
- Manage a broad range of business and technical stakeholders, navigating conflicting requirements and high-pressure environments with confidence.
- Present roadmap updates and delivery outcomes to leadership using strategic context and clear storytelling.
- Coordinate across teams for dependency management, synchronisation, and joint decision-making.
Data & Analytics
- Track and report on product KPIs to measure success, identify failures, and drive continuous improvement.
- Use data and analytics to deeply understand the current state, define the target state, and identify the best path of transformation.
- Define instrumentation requirements to ensure full measurability of product outcomes.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience & Background
- Several years of product management experience, or close and hands-on collaboration with product managers in a software product environment.
- Proven ability to move quickly between big-picture strategy and technical implementation details.
- Deep understanding of how high-velocity software development teams work and how engineers think.
- Experience with platform enablement, API and integration products, Partnership ecosystem creation and data services.
- Background in transformation projects — where both tech/infrastructure and business enablement products are being modernised simultaneously.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, PropTech, marketplaces, or data platform contexts is a strong plus.
- Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities — you understand current challenges deeply, define the best target state, and map the transformation journey clearly.
- Technical fluency to engage meaningfully in architecture discussions, API design, and build vs. buy decisions.
- Solid grasp of integration patterns, microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Comfortable with data querying and BI tools to validate hypotheses and monitor product performance.
- Familiar with high frequency cadence , fast speed development and delivery.
Communication & Mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business requirements for engineering teams.
- You bring well-formed opinions to discussions but hold them loosely — influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- You never limit your view to your own scope; you see everything end-to-end and take ownership of cross-team impact.
- Comfortable working autonomously across several concurrent projects with little guidance.
- You thrive on solving problems others think are impossible — with a relentless curiosity, learning mindset, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Language & Location
- Strong written and spoken English is required for collaboration across Immowelt and the Aviv Group.
- German language skills (B2 or above) are a plus for partner and stakeholder conversations.
- We ideally prefer candidates based in or willing to relocate to Nuremberg, Berlin, or Hamburg.

What We Offer:
- Ownership of a meaningful product domain with real business impact.
- A data-driven and collaborative Product & Tech culture.
