Job Description

What you can expect

Communication Services is part of the Product & Tech organisation and we are responsible to build services that can be used by other teams in the group.

Our mission is to provide a suite of reusable services to handle all communications to all our users at AVIV. These services have to provide the best performance for managing all the needs from teams around the group

As a Backend Engineer for Communication Service, you will work closely with all the members of your team (Engineers, Product Manager, QA, DevOps) to create the best technical solutions.

We are looking for an individual who can

  • Work closely with their team in an Agile environment
  • Contribute to the design and development cycle of our components
  • Share their knowledge with the other team members
  • Participate in the quality of code delivered by their teams

Our Stack

  • AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Athena)
  • Github, CircleCI, Datadog
  • TypeScript & NodeJS (main language)
  • SQL, NoSQL

Qualifications

About you

  • Several years of experience in development.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Agile mindset.
  • A rigorous, curious, autonomous and positive behaviour.
  • GDPR, security and privacy topics as foundation.
