This role is based in our Seeker Team

Seeker Domain aims to offer the best innovative solutions for our customers looking for a property to buy or rent at Aviv Group. Our mission is to collaborate closely with all teams in the company on the creation of the #1 real-estate marketplace in Europe. Our work is based on local expertise from Immowelt (Germany & Austria), Immoweb (Belgium), Groupe SeLoger and Meilleurs Agents (France). As a member of our team, you get to participate in the creation of a modern Saved Searches capabilities for the whole company, working closely with several other teams to build an integrated great user experience."

The potential employee would be required to visit office at least twice per week or based on the business requirements.

Our Tech Stack

We are building a modern Saved Search solution for our Seekers across all our national markets:

  • React, Typescript, Webpack / Module-federation, pnpm as a package manager
  • For our unit tests we use : Jest, @testing-library/react, MSW to mock API calls
  • Circle CI is a plus

We use dedicated operational readiness time to keep our technical stack up-to-date and experiment with technologies that meet our needs.

Job Description

What we are looking for

  • Together with your colleagues, you will design and develop the new generation of our successful Saved Search platform in an agile environment
  • We create the basis for innovative products and for the next generation of property management solutions for real estate agents
  • We put great emphasis on the automation of build, deployment and release processes as well as on quality through code reviews, tests and analysis
  • We share our knowledge and experience and actively support each other to continuously improve our technical level

Qualifications

Who you are

  • You have a degree in computer science, media informatics or a comparable education as well as several years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • You have several years of experience in frontend development using React and (micro)services using TypeScript
  • As an experienced developer you know how to design, implement, test and operate great software
  • You may already have an experience with cloud technologies (ideally with AWS) and more important you're being open to new technologies and development approaches and your passion for modern technologies is what makes you stand out
  • You want to create the next generation of our successful products with us and bring all your knowledge and skills to play a part in it
  • You show high commitment in the continuous improvement of the products and team maturity
  • You have high technical standards and are willing to openly share your knowledge with your colleagues
  • You appreciate working in an agile, cross-functional environment and like to work on your own responsibility
  • You must have good German (B1 or more) and English skills (mandatory)
