What we do in DXP

Digital Experience (DXP) is part of the Platform Experience core team at Aviv Group. Our mission is to collaborate closely with all teams in the company on the creation of the #1 real-estate marketplace in Europe.Our work is based on local expertise from Immowelt (Germany & Austria), Immoweb (Belgium), Groupe SeLoger and Meilleurs Agents (France).

We are looking to fill a Lead Frontend Developer positions with a high level of experience in one of our DXP core teams. This specific position is connected to our core responsibility of creating the common Design System for AVIV which is supporting all other development teams outside of DXP to build their products.

Qualifications

What you can expect

  • Technically lead a team of Frontend Developers in designing and developing the new generation of our successful real estate portals in an agile environment
  • Work inside of a team together with other Frontend Developers and also Product Designers
  • Be a lead and support for the rest of the team and also work hands on in developing components that our designers create using Figma and work together with them and our accessibility experts to constantly improve our products
  • Identify with our tech stack based on React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Webpack, Vite, CI/CD with tools like CircleCi and AWS cloud products
  • Appreciate work in an agile, cross-functional environment 
  • Like the automation of build, deployment and release processes as well as a focus on quality through code reviews, tests and analysis
  • Share our passion for collaboration and teamwork. We actively support each other to continuously improve our technical skill level

About you

  • Strong technical knowledge of frontend development and web fundamentals. Skills are more important than the way you got them. So no matter if you hold a degree in computer science, media informatics, or if you gained programming skills as part of a professional job oriented education - we are open to your application
  • Several years of practical experience as Frontend Developer in a professional environment
  • experience in mentoring and leading a tech team with being a role model and supporting them to improve their knowledge
  • ideally experience in building and working with Design Systems 
  • A profound verifiable knowledge of React, TypeScript and Css-in-JS
  • An open mind for different tech solutions. Our tech stack constantly evolves based on requirements and fact based decisions. So we invite you to evolve it with us
  • High technical standards and the necessary discipline and motivation to work on your own responsibility
  • Fluent English skills (French and German skills are nice but not a precondition)
