WHAT WE DO IN PRODUCT OPERATIONS

As a Product Operations Manager, your mission is to support the product teams (Product Managers, Designers…) in delivering the most valuable products by 

  1. enabling product teams to maximise their impact 
  2. driving operational excellence through best-in-class product development processes and tools 
  3. organising product communications and rituals 
  4. growing the teams' talent and engagement.

The product operation team is distributed in 3 different countries (Germany, France, Belgium) allowing us to keep the pulse from the team and understand where they need support.

Job Description

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CAN:

  • Continuously improve our Product Discovery & Delivery processes & tooling: 
    • Define, improve and standardize efficient and scalable processes & tooling in support of Product Excellence. Promote best practices across the team.
    • Streamline critical and routine product management tasks and processes, with aim to optimise P&T team efficacy.
    • Help to use the right data with the right people to take informed decisions from opportunity framing to customer rollout and adoption.
    • Be aware and communicate market insights in terms of Product best practices and methodologies.
    • Monitor impact of processes and tools on teams’ velocity and product quality.
  • Support internal product communication and rituals:
    • Make sure that product knowledge is shared between our product teams.
    • Improve presentation and discoverability of roadmap updates, release notes, product documentation, etc.
    • Clarify the roles and responsibilities of key Project deliverables and milestones within feature teams (Product Management, Design, Tech, Product Data).
    • Guarantee strong and healthy collaboration among Product and Tech teams.
    • Identify collaboration challenges between Product, Tech teams and key stakeholders (business owners, security teams, legal team…) and clarify or improve processes to drive efficiency and teams’ satisfaction.
  • Foster alignment across teams and drive change to enable them to maximise their impact 
    • Working and aligning product, leadership, and the wider company to ensure that we are executing our strategy.
    • Provide the right tools and coaching that allow teams to create and monitor OKRs.
    • Implementing, monitoring and steering the change within product domains to be integrated into the overall organisational development.
    • Aligning strategy and operations within the product domains to enable international product teams.
    • Consulting leadership on ways of working within product domains in a highly transformative environment.
  • Help grow the teams skills and engagement:
    • Gather input for Product Management Skill Building program (continuous product education program) from the teams.
    • Facilitation and support (scheduling, communications, documentation) of all skill building events and ongoing training programs (in collaboration with People team).
    • Actively support product teams to implement new skills and product management best practices (framework and methodology application, continuous improvement).
    • Collaboration with product leadership to identify and address skill gaps and operational improvements.

Qualifications

AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS:

  • Solid experience in product management, product operations or similar domains.
  • Experienced in workshop facilitation, user research, analytics.
  • Ability to turn abstract concepts into concrete action, and the other way around.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (German or French would be an advantage).
  • Experience in coaching/mentoring/training, ideally product managers.
  • Familiarity with Collaborative tools such as Slack, Confluence, Jira, GSuite.
  • Willingness to work in a Lean and moving environment.
  • You’re a self-starter who’s solution-oriented, strategic, proactive, passionate, positive, perseverant and thoughtful about their work, looking for challenges with a real innovative spirit
  • You have experience in project management, problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset
  • You are comfortable working on multiple projects with several teams at once
