    Job Description

    What we are looking for

    We are looking for a Program Manager to lead planning, managing, and evaluating programs, operations, and processes. To be successful as a Program Manager, you should be able to provide expert guidance to optimise systems, procedures, and processes, evaluate operational and program effectiveness and develop solutions to make improvements or address performance issues.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Reporting into the Head of Product & Tech Transformation Group, the Program Manager will be responsible for executing key programs of work that drives the Aviv transformation forward.

    • The programs will be diverse in nature spanning people and change topics to technical operations and governance.

    • The transformation is complex and far reaching so you will be expected to manage program & project management responsibilities depending on the circumstances.

    • Work closely with the Agile Coach function, which is part of the P&T Transformation Group, and are embedded within the product organisation to drive Agile ways of working best practices and provide visibility into areas of operational concern. 

    • Help the Product domain product and tech leadership focus on delivery value to the business by removing obstacles and accelerating value creation. 

    • Facilitate workshops and meetings toward clear and actionable outcomes

    • Communicate decisions, policy and process by leading briefings, writing presentations and documenting on Confluence, Miro or other knowledge platforms. 

    • Conduct research, analyse data, prepare reports related to the program

    • Analyse programs, policies, processes, and systems and make recommendations to

    • optimise these.

    • Help product and technology leaders manage their organisations through metrics and business data.

    • Provide mentoring and support to colleagues who lack program or project management experience. 

     

    Qualifications

    Who You Are

    • An outstanding Program Manager should have strong project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    • In this role you will also need in-depth understanding of Agile Software Product Development practices and possess experience working in a software product-led organisation.

    • To be successful in this role, you need to bring a consulting mindset and be flexible to move from one topic to the next as needs arise and in line with the transformational journey we’re on at AVIV.

    • Experienced in project strategy, risk assessment and planning, quality control and reporting on performance to key stakeholders and leadership. 

    • Ability to create schedules, communicate with team members and ensure that deliverables and milestones are met on schedule.

    • Top-notch communication skills for presenting new ideas and the ability to structure them into executional programs of work.

    • Excellent collaborative skills and ability to maintain positive work relationships.

    • Excellent presentation building skills to help tell a story and narrate achievements.

    • Strong research/analytical skills collecting the information needed to push through with new business projects.

    • Up-to-date with market trends, movement, and innovations for using tools with a focus on software product building mindset.

    • Preferably is an expert in Jira/Confluence and has exposure to Jellyfish but not mandatory.

    • Good handle on gathering, manipulating and synthesising data for reporting proposes. 

    • Willing to learn new tools and being hands on to deliver a solution.

    • Experience in matrix stakeholder management.

    • Preferably having relevant experience of over 5 years.
