Ventures & Incubation at AVIV

The Ventures & Incubation team looks after AVIV Group growth accelerators, building new revenue lines, business models and capabilities to best serve owners, buyers, renters and agents’ needs. It focuses on early-stage opportunities with high potential, with the objective to fast-track scaling and value creation. It plays a key role in making AVIV the leading European real estate platform.

Become a Venture- and Portfolio Management Intern

• Actively support managing AVIV portfolio companies
• Support in developing and assessing Value Creation Plans jointly with the management teams
• Track progress and work closely with management and operating teams to enable acceleration
• Support portfolio companies in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
• Build out the AVIV strategic investment portfolio
• Support the investment process through inhouse consulting and M&A projects (e.g. commercial due diligences)
• Develop and assess business plans for both portfolio and target companies
• Conduct competitor analyses, identify market trends and turn them into actionable solutions
• Participate in interviews and workshops with the local management
• Carry out web analytics and market research, e.g. focus groups or online surveys
• Support preparing presentations for the Executive Board and other management meetings

You are a student in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Economics or a comparable field from a leading university

• Practical experience in strategy consulting, venture capital, investment banking or in an entrepreneurial role in a start-up
• Strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial and conceptual mindset as well as a drive for numbers
• Willingness to perform, high professionalism and a strong team player
• A strong interest in digital business models, particularly around property transactions and the broader PropTech space
• A responsible, flexible and committed working style with a degree of assertiveness
• Fluency in English (German or French are a plus)
• Very good MS-Office skills
