What we do in Legal in AVIV

Legal is a pivotal function at AVIV Group. We are a team of currently ca. 15 lawyers spread over Germany, France, Belgium, and Israel. We provide high quality legal advice to the various divisions and business lines of the AVIV Group in all legal fields typically associated with a digital company, in particular contract law (drafting and negotiations), corporate, data protection, competition, and dispute resolution. We work with the businesses very closely on our journey to become the “To-Go-to”-platform in real estate in Europe.

    Job Description

    What we are looking for

    • Be responsible for AVIV’s commercial operations in Germany and work closely with the legal colleagues throughout the Group.
    • Review, plan, implement and advise on key existing legal processes and programs that support and protect the business.
    • Anticipate and identify legal issues in order to develop legal strategies and solutions.
    • Act as the first point of contact and central coordination point for all legal matters and advise the AVIV leadership team on business development, commercial, market access, research transactions and other legal matters. 
    • Reviewing, commenting and drafting contracts and other legally relevant documents from various fields.
    • Negotiate commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
    • Selection, coordination and control of external legal advisors as well as management of disputes.
    • Report directly to AVIV Group´s General Counsel.

    Qualifications

     

    Who we are looking for

    • You are a German qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in the above fields.
    • You have great entrepreneurial spirit and understand business needs whilst ensuring legal necessities are adequately reflected at the same time.
    • You feel confident in a cross-cultural matrix organisation and have experience of working globally, with a proven track record in complex commercial negotiations & litigation.
    • You have excellent problem-solving capabilities, strategic thinking  and interpersonal skills.
    • Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent and you are business fluent in English and German, French is a plus.
