We’re the New Business Development & Investments Team!

In the new business development & investments team, we drive explorative innovations at Aviv – with both, organic initiatives as well as investments in startups. We are a new team looking for bright minds with a hands-on attitude. We’re located in Berlin & Paris (but work also often from other locations of the Aviv Group like Brussels, Madrid, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Birmingham or Tel Aviv).

Become an Investment Manager or Senior Associate in Business Development & Investments 

• You bring your business mindset into our buy vs build decision and work on both organic initiatives (e.g. tests to validate hypothesis, built a business case,…) as well as new investments (e.g. join a due diligence process)
• You keep an ear out on the street in global proptech and extend the Aviv network in the scene to identify and evaluate key strategic trends, opportunities, and risks
• You carry out market and competition analyses to build a solid analytical understanding of business models, develop and challenge business plans
• You pick up on new investment hypothesis based on market and customer analysis and work with business developers and product managers on getting evidence in the market
• You have close ties with our existing minority & majority investments and work jointly with them on strategic projects together with AVIV Group’s brands
• You work with different companies across multiple geographies and foster knowledge transfer between companies

Your are a graduate with an outstanding degree from a top university in a business-related or quantitative field

• At least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a business development, investment or strategy consulting related field
• Experience of working in a dynamic start-up, entrepreneurial spirit and proactive "can-do" attitude
• Ability and willingness to own topics and drive them forward, while being a team player at heart
• A positive, open-minded, curious, and hands-on mentality
• Structured way of working and navigating smartly through projects and processes in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (German, French and Spanish are a plus)
