Job Description
Ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and technical readiness of simulators. This role combines hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with technical assistance and support functions. The objective is to maintain high availability and performance of the simulators while supporting the maintenance team with engineering insights and operational guidance.
To maintain and/or repair flight training devices and full flight simulators and other specific training devices per authorities’ requirements and Flight Safety standards.
To assure operational readiness of the simulator’s usage by instructors and customers and verify aeronautical discrepancies.
Perform installation, operation, inspection, periodic maintenance, design, modification, repair, customer configuration changes and test equipment/tools of electro-mechanical, mechanical, computer and visual display components.
Prepare and follow-up documentation and administrative tasks required by authorities for certifications. • Assure training devices are maintained according to published procedures and standards
Qualifications
Technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical systems, networking management
Minimum two years of demonstrated competence through satisfactory progressive performance in electronic maintenance or equivalent extra combination of education and experience.
Two years maintenance experience of all major areas, systems, and subsystems of the simulator devices, including IT, networking, customer support, or equivalent extra combination of education and experience.
Good knowledge of: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and Access • O/S: Windows 7, Windows 10, LINUX • Electronic software knowledge
