Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in Cooling Tower/Pump House design for EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thermal/process design and sizing of NDCT/IDCT Cooling Towers.
- Engineering of large Water Pump Houses (≈13,000 m³/hr flow).
- Exposure to Vertical Turbine Pumps, volute intakes, and forebay design.
- Pipe layout, surge and stress analysis.
- Preparation of layouts, GA drawings, design optimization, and engineering schedules.
- Ensure compliance with IS, American, British, and European codes.
- Review engineering documents across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC and Fire Fighting systems.
Special Attributes:
- Strong leadership; experience as Lead/Reviewer in EPC projects.
- Ability to guide cross-functional teams and resolve site/interface issues.
- Good client coordination and technical communication skills.
Preferred candidate profile:
- The successful candidate for this critical role must possess exceptional leadership qualities and demonstrate a proven track record as a Reviewer or Lead Engineer in multi-disciplinary engineering projects. It is imperative that the individual be capable of guiding multiple teams, resolving site and interdisciplinary issues, and effectively managing customer interfaces.
- The complexity and importance of this position demand a candidate who can bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to bear on challenging engineering problems. The ability to work under pressure, maintain high standards of accuracy, and drive projects to successful completion is paramount.
- Candidates must be prepared to undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure they meet the exacting standards required for this pivotal role within our organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering
This academic foundation must be complemented by extensive practical experience, with 8-12 years in relevant fields being mandatory.
