Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

In this role, you will contribute to the review and acceptance of engineering queries related to Embedded Steelwork Pools, Tanks, Liners, and Sumps (PTLS) scope. You will interface with multiple teams including the Main Civil Contractor, Construction, and Technical Experts. As the project progresses, you will transition into the Mechanical and Electrical teams.

⚡️ Respond to general queries, non-conformances, change requests, and exemption requests from contractors.
⚡️ Perform surveillance of manufacturing documents to ensure compliance.
⚡️ Ensure safety requirements are met through effective oversight.
⚡️ Contribute to the resolution and closure of open points.
⚡️ Assess technical risks and address them proactively.
⚡️ Report operationally to the PTLS Discipline Lead.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

🛠 Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
🛠 Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge within large scale industrial projects.
🛠 Experience in equipment design such as tanks, pools, sumps.
🛠 Experience in manufacturing, welding, and installation industries.
🛠 Working knowledge of Eurocodes or RCC-M.
🛠 Ability to influence stakeholders in a site environment.
🛠 Ability to work independently and escalate issues as needed.

Desired Skills:

✔️ Previous experience within a review and acceptance branch.
✔️ Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and regulations.
✔️ Strong reporting and documentation skills.
✔️ Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
