Job Description
The Planner, Global Direct-to-Consumer supports the creation and delivery of global reporting, analytics, and operational insights that guide data-driven decision making across ASICS’ Retail and eCommerce channels.
This role plays a critical part in the DTC Planning & Analysis function — executing standardized reporting, maintaining data accuracy, and turning complex performance metrics into actionable insights. Working under the direction of the Director of Global DTC Planning & Analysis, the Planner helps operationalize global visibility into category, product, and channel performance, ensuring alignment across regions and business functions.
Through disciplined analytics, collaboration, and curiosity, this position helps translate data into meaningful business intelligence that drives smarter forecasting, inventory optimization, and assortment management across the Global DTC organization.
So, what goes into making that happen?
- Global DTC Reporting & Dashboard Execution: Maintain and distribute standardized reports and dashboards that integrate Retail, eCommerce and Omnichannel data. Ensure accuracy, timelines, and alignment with global KPI definitions and templates.
- Performance Analytics & Insight Support: Conduct category, product and regional analyses to evaluate sell-through, margin, and inventory health. Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and trends to support monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Forecast, Inventory & Open-to-Buy Tracking: Support the evaluation of regional forecasts and OTB plans to ensure consistency and visibility. Prepare reports and visualizations to highlight gaps and optimization opportunities.
Cross-Functional Data Coordination: Partner with Global Analytics, IT, and regional planning teams to streamline data sources, validate metrics, and enable automation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Executive & Fleet Review Support: Prepare performance summaries and supporting materials for QBRs, Fleet Reviews and global leadership presentations, ensuring data integrity and visual clarity.
Process & Standards Documentation: Maintain and update procedural documentation related to reporting cadence, KPI definitions, and data governance standards.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects: Support the Director and regional stakeholders on special projects related to business modeling, SKU productivity, store productivity, or regional performance deep dives.
