Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in helping the organization through its digital and transformation journey. This critical position demands an individual who embodies both the ability to design automation workflows and adapt existing ones.
This position will work within a small team of DevOps Engineers, and they will be responsible for implementing scalable, efficient, and secure public and private cloud solutions. The role involves working closely with architecture, development, operations, and security teams to create a seamless CI/CD pipelines that enable automated deployment and operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud services, DevOps practices, and software development lifecycles.
Your tasks:
- Partner with lead Architects and DevOps peers to implement highly scalable, resilient, and performant cloud and private cloud solutions.
- Work independently to migrate existing workflows to modern automation and orchestration engines as defined by architectural teams.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in the development and optimization of application and system deployments.
- Leverage and build CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment, validation and management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency.
- Identify and develop cross-cutting reusable building blocks to be provided to domain applications.
- Work with security teams to ensure cloud solutions comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Conduct system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and software development methodologies.
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cloud/DevOps Engineer role with a proven track record of implementing cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure on both AWS and private cloud solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and transformation patterns.
- Solid knowledge of container and container orchestration services (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure as a code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tooling (e.g. ArgoCD, Flux).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Platform Engineering principles and tooling (e.g. Backstage).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Familiarity with observability principles and tools (e.g.Dynatrace).
- Experience with or interest in Cycloid, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring.
- Experience with or interest in GitOps, REST APIs, and CI/CD principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Integration platforms, including API Management solutions as well as messaging solutions.
- Fluency in English.
