Job Description

ARHS Group – part of Accenture is looking for Business Analysts for one of its clients, a key player in the Belgian Telecom Market.

Context

We are currently looking for business analysts in the teams delivering applications for customer appointment planning and management, Network appointment planning and management, and Product & Service Activation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Product Owner of the team to build a roadmap for the application landscape owned by the team, presenting and aligning the roadmap with stakeholders, and managing dependencies with other teams.
  • Creating and refining the backlog, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring progress.
  • Translating business needs or questions into functional and non-functional requirements on an higher level, ensuring that important requirements are not missed.
  • Taking active ownership of initiatives, driving and coordinating with stakeholders, partners, and other teams.
  • Working closely with software architects to develop overall solution designs and sharing knowledge.
  • Co-creating with, coaching, and challenging on- and offshore analysts, developers, and testers of our IT delivery partner.
  • Assessing and validating the required capacity/effort to facilitate informed decisions.
  • Monitoring the quality, consistency, scalability, and development of applications.
  • Challenging our IT delivery partner to design and implement the best possible, concrete, sustainable solutions.
  • Being the single point of contact (SPOC) for the application, ensuring its smooth operation and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree with over 5-7 years of IT experience, ideally in telecom or utility sectors.
  • At least 3 years as a business analyst or consultant, with a strong track record in analyzing and designing information systems, especially for integration projects (API).
  • Strong communicator, adept at tailoring language to different audiences.
  • Structured and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail without losing the big picture.
  • Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and pragmatism.
  • Capable of working independently, taking initiative, and seeking help when needed.
  • Collaborative, yet willing to take ultimate responsibility.
  • Experienced in coordinating work with external vendors and partners.
  • Available to work from the client’s office at least two days a week.
  • Excellent knowledge of English; Dutch is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Experience as a developer/software engineer would be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with telecom products or telco experience is a plus.
  • Passionate about agile methodologies (scrum), fostering teamwork among analysts, developers, and testers.
