Job Description
ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager for one of its clients in Namur.
As IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will oversee the project, from the preparation of the project management plan related to the mission entrusted to you, its execution in accordance with the defined governance and methodology, through to its closure.
The aim of the assignment is to update the Wi-Fi equipment. This equipment is present on all sites (+-100 sites). The assignment also includes a reassessment of requirements to identify any need to adapt Wi-Fi coverage.
Role & Responsibilities
- With the support of our IT infrastructure team, carrying out an inventory of existing equipment.
- Completing this inventory with a reassessment of requirements, accounting for the individual needs of each site.
- Establishing a migration strategy based on the criteria defined with the IT Infrastructure department.
- In collaboration with our IT infrastructure team and our security team, establishing a target architecture guaranteeing security, availability and the expected level of service.
- As the Wi-Fi service is in production, minimizing its unavailability according to a migration plan drawn up in agreement with local stakeholders.
- Defining generic migration processes and plans, as well as test plans, and adapting them to suit specific situations.
- Coordinating the execution of migrations (preparation - planning - execution - testing - post-migration support - documentation - transfer to operational teams).
- Supervising the activation of maintenance contracts for new equipment and the shutdown of decommissioned equipment.
- Monitoring purchase orders, logistics, technical, organizational and financial aspects of the project, as well as associated reporting.
- At the end of the project, you will be responsible for producing “lessons learned” to enrich the continuous improvement process.
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Excellent knowledge of French. Active knowledge of English is required.
- Recent experience as IT Project Manager
- Strong drafting skills.
- Ability to participate in project and technical meetings and good communication skills.
