ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Test Automation Specialist to handle the web & app quality assurance for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Health Insurance domain.

Context

Scrum methodology is used to develop the solution. In this context, you need to work closely with the business, solution architect and developers so that the functionalities are delivered correctly.

Role & responsibilities

• Carrying out manual tests during and after development by the various development teams. Testing different scenarios and actively looking for bugs and/or improvement opportunities in the applications. Providing the developers with detailed information about the bugs found in order to be able to reproduce your finding(s).
• Responsible for the creation of automatic end-to-end tests regarding the functionalities of the App and Web (developed in Outsystems).
• Developing new end-to-end tests using the following technologies:
  • Cypress
  • Jenkins
  • Selenium
  • Appium
  • Browserstack
  • Protractor
• Communicating efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) so that they understand the priorities of the tasks perfectly.
• Making technical improvement proposals and defending them to the solution architect.
• Supporting the developers with the functional tests.
• Writing automatic tests.
• Delivering APM tests per application, down to API level.
• Performing load and performance tests.
• Analyzing integrations with other parties and systems.
• Working out the technical design based on a functional analysis.
• Working together with infrastructure staff to install the applications and monitoring their operation.
• Documenting your test scenarios thoroughly, without getting bogged down in details.

• Critical and have good analytical and synthesis skills
• Independent worker & able to thrive in a team
• Sense of quality, accuracy and have a no-nonsense mentality
• Stress resistant, result-oriented, proactive & dynamic
• Fluent in Dutch, with good knowledge of English.

Technical skills

• Experience in creating end-to-end tests of a mobile App and Web
• Knowledge of Cypress, Jenkins, Selenium and Protractor
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence would be considered an asset
