Established in 2016, the Greek entity Arηs Developments Hellas aims to extend Arηs Group activities dedicated to the European market providing high-quality services in Software Development, covering the entire application development lifecycle.

We are currently looking for an ElasticSearch Specialist to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations

Tasks:

• Support the design and implementation phases of the ElasticSearch solutions used at the client's,  revising and improving on the technical specifications and configurations devised already to account for different use cases;
• Design, implement and maintain operational procedures for the management of the ElasticSearch components and technologies, in support of client's ICT Operations teams;
• Support, design and implementation work for solutions built on the ELK stack deployed, providing environment setup and design support, enabling the best fit of the solution to client's IT environment;
• Develop procedures for recurring system administration and support for other operations teams, providing awareness sessions where required;
• Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended by the leading architect, in conjunction and support of the testing team;
• Execute Proof of concept, prototyping of infrastructure solutions;
• Provision of technical studies, technical expertise, technical evaluations in relation with ElasticSearch services and components;
• Production of technical documentation;
• Assistance with configuration of the system for production deployment and in training administrators and users;

Qualifications

Who you are:

Mandatory:

• Bachelor plus minimum of 9 years of experience as an IT professional working in a medium-large enterprise ICT environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ElasticSearch design and implementation.
• Participation in a minimum of 5 projects involving ELK services design and implementation
• Good knowledge of ELK infrastructure design including multi-tenancy, sizing and performance
• Good knowledge of ELK services maintenance and support procedures
• Good knowledge of ICT network architectures, protocols and standards, covering LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN and public networks
• Good knowledge of ELK security controls setup and configuration 
• Good knowledge of enterprise storage  
• Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
