Job Description

ARHS Digital is looking for a passionate Technical Mendix Integrator with previous programming experience for one of its clients in the Telecom Industry.

Role & responsibilities

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams using agile principles like SCRUM to deliver solutions that make a positive impact on the business
  • Collaborating with business partners throughout the application development lifecycle to prototype, create, iterate, and deploy apps
  • Helping business developers to create and maintain apps with quality and consistency by using your existing programming experience to share best practices
  • Designing scalable application architectures to support new business models and products
  • Building apps using low-code development tools
  • Extending low-code development tools and applications by coding reusable front-end components and back-end integration modules

 

  • Partner with the line of business to integrate applications with agility
  • Collaborate with analysts, user experience designers, and peer developers to create visually appealing multi-channel experiences
  • Communicate with the development team and business in real-time, taking a test and learn approach throughout the application lifecycle
  • Elevate the capabilities of business stakeholders by sharing development best practices, enabling them to contribute directly to the application development process
  • Integrate the Mendix low-code platform with existing enterprise services, toolchains, and DevOps processes to maximize efficiency and quality

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management of information systems, or business degree
  • Mendix - Advanced developer certified
  • At least 1 year of experience building web, mobile applications or tools
  • Solving problems is like your favorite food, something you love everyday
  • Attention to detail while at the same time keeping focus on the business goals
  • Desire and ability to communicate in an open and straightforward manner
  • Passion and patience for helping others learn and grow development skills in a software driven world
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Flexibility to change direction, iterate, and adopt new technology to meet solution requirements

Technical skills

  • Experience with relational database structure and design
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • .NET, Java, or comparable programming experience preferred
  • Agile Experience
  • SCRUM certification would be considered an asset
  • CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins and Visual Studio Team Services
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Foundry would be considered an asset
