Job Description

We are currently looking for a   Documentation & Training Specialist to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

Tasks:

  • The candidate is expected to produce, update, and review documentation for the client's relevant projects. The candidate should perform relevant project documentation, share knowledge, and train users to reach optimal product adoption to support business performance.
  • The individual is expected to collaborate with the ICT teams and the Business team as required, in order to deliver the assigned tasks.
  • It is expected that the candidate will facilitate the capture and transfer of knowledge and skills required to ensure that people can effectively perform their intended tasks in the workplace.
  • The individual is expected to perform the following activities during the engagement:
  • Capture details of solution capabilities and document them exhaustively.
  • Produce new or update existing documentation, including but not limited to, operational manuals, technical guides, business requirements documents, functional specifications documents, project documentation (e.g. lessons learned).
  • Ensure consistency among documents/drafts, confirming accuracy of references/footnotes/captions.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained/organized for optimal use/retrieval.
  • Capture training needs analyses based on change impact of project.
  • Design project training programs to meet business adoption targets.
  • Produce and/or update existing training materials (content and method).
  • Adapt third-party training material to support individual competence development in line with organizational needs.
  • Deliver effective training in different modalities, including classroom and on-line.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report effectiveness of training.
  • Serve the roles of an editor and proof-reader by participating in peer reviews.
  • Apply corporate quality standards and policies in working methods and deliverables.

Qualifications

Who you are:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor's plus minimum of 6 years' of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in Documentation Production;
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Education and Training Provision.
  • Minimum 3 years of proof reading or publishing experience, preferably with IT technical documents;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Good knowledge of design/modelling tools;
  • Good knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, Atlassian, DevOps;
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power BI, Azure and Office365 platforms; 
  • Good understanding of IT concepts and ability to quickly grasp new acronyms and technologies;
  • Detail-oriented, problem-solver, self-starter requiring minimal oversight, with flexibility and
  • good follow-through skills;
  • Ability to apply high quality standards;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
