Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst  to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

Tasks:

  • Analyze business requirements
  • Lead workshops with business representatives
  • Develop business model analysis and documentation
  • Provide business process analysis and documentation
  • Contribute to vision documents, project documentation, policies and procedures
  • Model business processes
  • Document functional requirements, detailed specifications, user stories and provide business cases analysis
  • Provide risk analysis

Qualifications

Who you are:

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent in professional experience 
  • Professional experience of more than 5 years in business analysis position, with relevance to the tasks described above
  • English - Proficient communication skills, orally and in writing
  • Good knowledge of large organization administrative business processes
  • Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, etc.)
  • Experience with BPMN or UML process documentation or other with equivalent value
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
  • Proven experience in business requirement analysis
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing business analysis documentation
  • Capability to speak to business and technical audiences
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Agility to participate, organize, lead meetings, excellent communicator (English)
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
  • Previous experiences as business analyst in at least one of the following areas:

1. Policies and Procedures

- Expertise in Technical writing in English
- Knowledge of IT security and data protection regulations applicable to IT systems 
- Capacity to analyze and challenge a business requirement or a policy statement, understanding the source of the need and finding the appropriate solution

2. Document Management 

- Knowledge of ARES
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of O365

3. Collaboration Platform

- Knowledge of SharePoint Online
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of Power Platform
- Knowledge of O365

Advantageous:

  • Previous agile experience (certification in PM2-Agile or equivalent and additional certifications in agile business analysis methodologies desirable
  • Previous experience in an EU institution
  • Capacity to take initiatives where appropriate, work proactively and independently
  • Capacity to find and propose creative solutions to problems
