Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior System Engineer (Sharepoint) to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

  • Manage, configure, and maintain SharePoint on prem environments, according to the client's ICT strategy and relevant technology best practices. 
  • Manage, configure, and maintain SharePoint online environment 
  • Implement and document controls and processes to perform pro-active maintenance on the SharePoint on prem environments, including the installation of updates, as required by the client
  • Provide guidance and 2nd level support, configuration, and maintenance, on the client's SharePoint applications (on prem and online) including:
  1. Paperless
  2. ERDMS
  3. eHR suite of applications
  4. Intranet
  5. ODS
  6. COI
  7. Queries
  8. Risk Management Tool
  9. eProcurement
  10. IDS
  11. COP
  • Monitor and report on usage as well as perform security audits of the systems.
  • Interact with project teams and other stakeholders involved in SharePoint infrastructure and applications.
  • Produce and maintain documentation relevant to the activities.
  • Monthly Patching, including automation improvements.
  • Monthly Patching, including automation improvements.
  • Build SharePoint 2019 environments, using Auto-SPInstaller and PowerShell. 
  • Improve redundancy and disaster recoveries capabilities of the SharePoint Farms

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor's plus minimum of 10 years' of relevant professional experience in IT
  • Professional experience of more than 6 years with Sharepoint technologies
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in applicable technologies field is required. Skills and knowledge must be kept current, including ongoing active pursuit of certifications.
  • Experience in web technologies and web design (e.g. JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS) Microsoft SharePoint certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with SQL server database structures, procedural programming and development of SSIS packages
  • Good understanding of SharePoint, PowerShell and SharePoint Management Shell, as well as the different out of the box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services and SharePoint Designer
  • Demonstrated experience translating a final design into a finished SharePoint web presence
  • Knowledge of information management technologies and platforms especially SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016/2019 and SharePoint Online
  • Fluency, in English, to at least B2 level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
