Job Description

We are currently looking for a Virtualization/Cloud Architect to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

Tasks:

• Advice and/or propose possible virtual and/or cloud infrastructure improvements, changes or upgrades
• Propose infrastructure solutions and design for disaster recovery purposes and emergency scenarios
• Create and update the technical documentation and operating procedures
• Accompany and oversee deployments and configuration changes and methods to ensure minimum infrastructure and services disruption

Who you are:

• Master's Degree plus minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
• AWS Professional or MS Azure Architect or VMware VCDX-DCV certification
• At least 5 years of experience architecting on above mentioned technologies
• Proven experience in at least 3 large scale cloud or virtualization projects
• Presents excellent command of English, at least at B2 level
• Experience in designing hybrid cloud solutions, including DR, storage, networking and replication.
• Possesses knowledge on the latest network technologies and design concepts
• Other IT related certifications
• Good knowledge of the virtualization technologies and industry/market
• A proactive attitude, team-work spirit, being self-motivated, capacity to deliver on tight schedules
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal communication)
• Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Specific Requirements:

• Knowledge of automate infrastructure and build pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Proficiency in ensuring for the cloud solutions high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
• Experience in Cloud environments and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own 
• Solution Architecture (applications and data technologies)
• Familiar with Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architecture Framework
• Holds Azure DevOps Engineer certification
