Job Description

We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of the biggest European organizations in Hague, Netherlands.

Tasks:

  • Perform a benchmark of at least three File Exchange COTS solutions against the EU Institution's business and technical requirements
  • Review and support all the collateral documentation provided by suppliers and/or third party involved in the design of the solution;
  • Work with staff in the EU Institution's  ICT’s Architecture and Engineering team, in addition to software engineering teams, to devise a detailed design for the integration of the secure file transfer solution with the messaging and collaboration system;
  • Produce, maintain and update High Level and Low Level software architecture design documentation related to the above;
  • Interact with Project Management, Requirements engineers, QA and Development Teams, ICT and Information Security, Business stakeholders, External providers.

Qualifications

Who you are:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor plus minimum of  6 years of experience in ICT Solution design, specifically on integration architectures (and microservices architectures in the last couple of years) 
  • Participation in a minimum of 3 projects integration of systems 
  • Good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. REST APIs, message oriented middleware, service oriented applications)
  • Good knowledge of Container technology docker based.
  • Good knowledge of Search technologies, preferable Elasticsearch based.  
  • Good knowledge of file transfer standards and technologies (sFTP, etc.)

Desirable: 

  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes technology 
  • Certification: SCRUM
