Job Description

ARHS Developments is looking for a Web Content Specialist for one of its clients at the European Institutions.

The department’s mission is to ensure, on the operational level, the management of websites, respecting state of the art accessibility and diffusion means, and conceptually, continuing the modernization of websites in close cooperation with other services.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk
    • External user support for any requests concerning managed websites
    • Internal support for the tools developed by the unit (follow-up and resolution of problems)
    • Writing and distribution of documentation, user guides, and other supporting materials (including wiki)
  • Webmastering
    • Contribution and publication of site content under the technical responsibility of the Unit
  • Additional tasks
    • Follow up on translation requests
    • Domain management (renewal, redirects, etc.)
    • Take part in the editorial committee meetings
    • Participate in the media planning team

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, information illustration, multi-media studies, communication, web design or information technologies
  • Minimum 4 years of experience and involvement in various web projects
  • Good knowledge of English and French
  • Passionate about Internet/Intranet projects and their innovations, a strong imagination and good consultancy skills
  • Ability to work in a team in a multilingual and multicultural environment
  • Highly creative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Artistic flair, genuine creative skills
  • Methodical, structured and detail-oriented

Technical skills

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of service desk operations
  • Interest in troubleshooting and problem resolution investigation
  • Good web knowledge and comprehension
  • Experience with CMS and information systems
  • Solid experience of interactive media
  • Excellent computer skills in relevant art and design software packages
  • Informed about and open to the latest web trends
