Job Description

ARHS Developments is looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the team of one of our clients focused on providing solutions in the field of digital identity, access management and electronic signature. The services provided include:

  • Web single sign-on and multiple single-factor and multi-factor mechanisms for accessing applications
  • Allowing implementers to ensure that application authorisations are managed in a coherent and consistent manner
  • Ensuring identities are created in a coherent and consistent manner
  • Open source reference implementation of the eIDAS specifications allowing national eID solutions to interoperate one with another
  • Authorisation and delegation solution to allow companies throughout Europe to consume customs, taxation and excise services cross-border
  • Advanced and qualified electronic signatures services
  • Open-source reference implementation of the eIDAS specifications, allowing creation and validation of electronic signatures

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define business requirements
  • Work with product/project owners and development team to drive and deliver projects on time
  • Translate the business concepts into detailed functional requirements in a clean and appropriate level of details that are easily comprehensible to developers.  Assist with preparing formal stakeholder presentations. Represent requirements using alternative views, such as visual analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or simulations, when requested
  • Lead requirements validation activities to confirm that a solution based on the requirements would meet customer needs and achieve the business objectives with little assistance
  • Develop expertise in both our business processes and technology solutions
  • Perform functional analysis of new products’ features and/or services for the IAM Solutions and develop detailed functional specifications. Specify quality attributes, interfaces, and constraints
  • Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, consistently, concisely, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
  • Demonstrate critical thinking. Have a background including deep knowledge of Epics, Features, and User Stories
  • Participate and support Agile ceremonies such as Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Ability to support product strategy formulation and its translation into actionable and measurable requirements. Work under minimal supervision, be able to propose creative and insightful solutions
  • Implement ways to reuse requirements across projects

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Bachelors' degree with at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner working on IT projects (prior experience with the Identity and Access Management would be considered an asset)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (listening too) - from talking to software engineers to senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills, strong facilitation and consensus building skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required

 

Technical skills

  • In depth understanding of web applications and web services design, understanding identity and access management principles, good knowledge about the API management and development technologies and methodologies.
  • In depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, at least 5 years of experience writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support for prioritizing scrum team backlogs.
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent technical support documentation skills.
  • Previous experience in the development, integration, and implementation of Identity and Access Management projects.

 

Be legally authorized to work in Belgium and not require sponsorship for employment visa.

Because of the nature of the project, only a security clearable person will be considered for the position.
