As a Software engineer your main mission can be summarized as follows: maintain, install and upgrade IT solutions and systems and provide technical support in order to guarantee efficient data processing in business and production flows and ensure optimal user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and translate them in application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications and features
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
•  Perform unit testing before launch
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Provide technical support to end-users to ensure third level assistance
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

Requirements :

• Strong knowledge of relational databases concepts
• Oracle development experience under the J2EE architecture:
• Oracle database 11g/12c
• Oracle Designer 9i/9g
• Oracle Forms & Reports 10g/12c
• PL-SQL
• XML database
• Knowledge of the following operating systems:
• Windows
• Linux
• Unix
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in industry
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Customer minded
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ready for short-term travels in Europe
• Full professional proficiency in English
