Are you an ELA teacher or subject matter expert looking for a creative outlet to earn some extra money? A Pass Educational Group is seeking writers, developmental editors, and subject matter experts to create lesson content, assessment items, and course development for ELA grades 3-12. Grades 3-12 ELA classroom experience, course development experience, and assessment development experience a must! If you are interested in being considered for the developmental editor role, please include your experience in your resume. This is a 100% remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.

Details:

• Contract, this is an independent contractor position
• $22.50 - $26.50 per hour, depending on role and project
• 3-6 hours/day, maybe some weekends
• 100% remote, work from anywhere position
• An A Pass writing sample is required to move forward in the application process

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in education, ELA, or similarly relevant subject area
• Classroom experience at grade level(s) is recommended; 3+ years of classroom experience preferred
• Previous experience writing benchmark-aligned content and assessment items preferred; 1+ years experience with item writing development preferred
• Classroom teaching and Google Drive navigation are distinctly advantageous!
