Seeking subject matter experts, writers, and developmental editors to develop Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice HiEd/Professional Licensing Exam Study Guides. Subject matter experts (SMEs) should have excellent knowledge of subject matter and what needs to be tested for licensing exams. Writers should have the ability to create study guide for HiEd/Professionals on these subjects. Developmental editors (DEs) should possess the ability to evaluate writing and suggest ways to improve. Familiarity with study guides for professional/licensing exams preferred. This is a 100% remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.

Details:

• Contract, this is an independent contractor position
• $20.00 - $25.00/hour for writers, $25.00 - $30.00/hour for developmental editors, $40.00 - $45.00/hour for subject matter experts
• 3-4 hours/day; 12-15 hours/week; some weekend work may apply
• 100% remote, work from anywhere position
• An A Pass writing sample may be required to move forward in the application process.

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in education, criminal justice, law enforcement, or similarly relevant subject area
• Must be knowledgeable in the course material for Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice
• Proficient in writing assessments/study materials for higher education
• College-level teaching experience in those courses preferred
• Familiarity with study guides for professional/licensing exams preferred
• Google Drive navigation
