Job Description

As a Senior Clinician, you will deliver proactive workplace wellbeing services, coaching, psychological support, and evidence-based interventions to a diverse range of FBG clients across government, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

Working with employees from a variety of professions and levels of seniority, you will provide regular wellbeing consultations designed to support mental health, build resilience, and strengthen long-term wellbeing. While many clients may be functioning well, your role will focus on helping them maintain and enhance their wellbeing as well as identifying and addressing emerging challenges before they become more significant concerns.  At times, there may be some more complex presentations that require additional support and/or external referral.

Our client organisations recognise the potential impact of psychosocial hazards, vicarious trauma, cumulative stress, burnout, and other workplace-related risks. Through proactive and preventative support, you will assist employees to reflect on their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and sustain their professional wellbeing over time.

Consultations are delivered via telehealth, from home or FBG offices, or onsite at client workplaces. You will work with a diverse client group that may include Judicial Officers, Court staff, School Principals, Lawyers, Justice professionals, Support Workers and other specialist workers whose employers actively invest in regular wellbeing support and reflective practice.

What’s in it for you:

FBG Group is a psychology led organisation where you will have ready access to strong clinical and organisational consulting leadership and ongoing professional development to enhance and develop your skills. You will be part of a high performing, cohesive and supportive clinical team. Regular individual and peer supervision is available to support and develop you.

Joining a high-quality consulting practice, you will have a unique opportunity to be exposed and support the work done by our other streams who provide organisational consulting services to review, align, and implement proactive strategic organisational assessments, recommendations, strategies, and programs.

FBG Group offers the flexibility of working from home, spending some time in the office and visiting organisations, and travel (limited and when required).

What will make you successful:

You will bring a strong clinical foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for supporting mental health and wellbeing in workplace settings.

Essential Requirements
