The Role

We are seeking a commercially astute Financial Analyst to join the ANZ Digital team. This role plays a key part in strengthening financial governance across our digital portfolio by bringing rigour, visibility and commercial insight to digital investments, contracts and delivery outcomes. 

Working closely with Digital Business Partners, delivery teams, Commercial and Procurement teams, and external vendors, this role supports the end‑to‑end financial lifecycle of digital initiatives, from contract review and commercial assessment through to milestone tracking, invoicing, reporting and compliance. 

This is a hands‑on role, well suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑moving digital environment and enjoys bringing structure, discipline and foresight to complex initiatives while enabling strong communication for better decision‑making 

This role can be based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Geelong.


In this role you will:

  • Support contract reviews in partnership with Digital Commercial teams to assess financial terms, risks, and commercial obligations  
  • Build relationships and consult with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver to their requirements.
  • Maintain and manage a central register of digital contracts, including key milestones, deliverables, obligations, financial dates and terms  
  • Provide essential contribution and advice to high level planning and execution of business initiatives.
  • Support commercial negotiations through analysis of pricing structures, payment terms, and commercial models 

Skills you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, ideally within technology, digital, project-based or procurement environments  

  • Strong understanding of contract financials, invoicing, and supplier management  

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines 

  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively across commercial, technical business stakeholders. 

  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability preferred

  • Familiarity with Prince2 or Agile Methodologies.
