Job Description
Are you the next Caroline Baum, Michael Lewis, or Stacey Tisdale?
The Economics Writer Intern will cover all economic and personal finance related content that identifies with and topically relates to Modern Treatise’s vision/target demographic.
Responsibilities Include:
- Write a weekly column focused on domestic and global economic topics.
- Write a bi-weekly column presenting financial advice and commentary.
- Write regular content focused on an analysis of economic data.
Duration: 6 months
This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.
Official Start Date: ASAP
Note: Metro San Francisco, Chicago and New York residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
Qualifications
The candidate must be adept at graphing out economic data and writing comprehensive analysis of economic reports.
The candidate must also be able to write economic commentary on a wide range of domestic and global topics.
The candidate must have a keen eye and an informative approach which would complement these duties best.
The candidate must be able to combine quantitative and sociological aspects of any subject matter that they cover and infuse that into their content.
